Unidentified militant killed in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 3: Security forces have killed an unidentified militant during overnight gunfight in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on a specific information, police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Dachigam area of Harwan in Srinagar district late last evening, police said.

One unidentified militant has been killed in an overnight gunfight in Dachigam area of Harwan area of Srinagar district on Tuesday.

During overnight gunfight, an unidentified militant has been killed so far, they said adding however operation in the area was underway and more details awaited.
