4 killed, 13 injured in road accident in Kishtwar

Jammu, Dec 4: Four persons were killed and 13 others injured, some of them seriously, when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

The vehicle carrying atleast 17 workers of J P Company, skidded off the road at Dangdooru area of the hilly district this evening, police said.

Four persons died on the spot and 13 others injured, some of them seriously, they said adding the dead and injured were evacuated from the site of accident and shifted to district hospital kishtwar.

After first aid, the seriously injured were later referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for specialised treatment, they said.
