BSF kills intruder near R S Pura border in Jammu

Jammu, Apri 5: Border Security Forces (BSF) shot and killed an intruder in the R S Pura sector of Jammu district in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory early this morning.
BSF personnel detected suspicious movement near the border fence during the intervening night of April 4-5, officials said.

After issuing challenges that went unanswered, BSF troops fired shots at the individual, they said.

Early this morning, BSF informed the police and a team of police reached to the spot and took the body in their custody for medico-legal formalities, they added.
