PM to address a rally on Sep 19 in Srinagar

Jammu, Sep 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a mega public rally in Srinagar on September 19.

To raise the morale of BJP candidates in fray and to give a boost to party’s election campaign in Kashmir, Prime Minister will address a mega political rally at Sher-e Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar on September 19, Party sources said.

This will be Prime Minister’s second visit to Jammu and Kashmir in less than a week as he is scheduled to address a big rally in Jammu on September 14.

Prime Minister will undertake a day-long visit to Jammu on September 14 and will address two election rallies in the Jammu region, including one in district Doda on the same day, sources said.

Modi will be visiting Kashmir to address a mega election rally of BJP workers at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium Srinagar on September 19, a day after first phase of Assembly polls. So, PM Modi will be campaigning for BJP candidates in fray for the second phase., they said.

Sources said that the rally will raise the confidence of BJP workers and the candidates in fray for second phase fixed for September 25.

Last week, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed rallies in Jammu and Ramban where the two leaders made it clear that nobody can bring back Article 370.
